Rinse the cooked chickpeas (from a jar or can) under cold water in a colander and drain well.
Pat the chickpeas dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towel. Make sure they are as dry as possible to achieve maximum crispiness.
In a small mixing bowl mix the spices: nutritional yeast, chili powder and salt.
In a mixing bowl, toss the chickpeas with the spices mix until evenly coated.
Add a piece of parchment paper to the air fryer basket and transfer the seasoned chickpeas. Make sure you spread them out in a single layer for even cooking
Air fry the chickpeas at 200 °C (392 °F) for 20 minutes shaking the basket after every 5 minutes of cooking to ensure even crisping. Keep an eye on them towards the end to prevent burning.
