Shikanji (traditional Indian lemonade) is the perfect drink for hot summer days. It's not only refreshing but also packed with health benefits. Instructions
Add all the ingredients: ice-cold water, lime juice, fresh mint leaves, amchur, cumin, and salt, one by one, to a blender.
Blend all the ingredients together.
Taste the Shikanji and adjust the sugar and salt if necessary. For a perfect Shikanji a balance between sweet, salty, and citrus is what we are looking for.
Pour the Shikanji into glasses and ice cubes.
Garnish with slices of lime or extra mint leaves.
Alternatively you can create a spice mix rim on the glass with half of a lime and extra amchur powder or mix of all the spices we have added in the Shikanji for a fancy cocktail experience.
Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing, tangy taste.
